    Ellen, thank you very much, I'm so glad you enjoyed the story. Yes, we weren't short of canine helpers, that's for sure! H'm, I'm not sure whether Maroilles is available in the US. If not, you might try researching online for a local cheese that is similar in flavour/texture. The best of luck, it really is a wonderful recipe.
